3 years ago we asked multiple times for a renovation permit. They told us they would get back to us. They did - 3 years after the fact.
It is an interesting process to do so after the fact. Until we get this all straightened out we have been asked not to host inside.

An unique, very cool event space. A new experience. A place all your own to hold your Rehearsal Dinner, Birthday, Anniversary or even a work event. Lunch or dinner. 3 or 5 courses. Reservations required. For groups of 8-24 persons.

Supper Club
Join our supper club, all you have to do is leave us your email! An invite will be emailed to you. Doors open at 5pm and dinner starts at 6.
We will host these dinners one Saturday of each month. Some will be special events, murder mystery dinners, Themed nights' some with entertainment. etc. Only For those who wish to join in the fun. Limited seating so book early. Reservations are required.

About
Our Story
We, Rene and Jeannette Bosman along with our boys owned and ran Providence Point for 23 years. In January of 2022 we sold that property and needed a home. The first time we walked through this house we knew it was something special. It took a year to completely gut and then another 6 months to restore. As it turns out it is the oldest stone house in the village of Lanark. The first 115 years or so it was the manse (parsonage, rectory) first to the Presbyterian Church and then to the Catholic Church. Then it was sold to George Young and became Youngs Funeral Home for the next 75 years. Now it has become our home which we would like to share with you.
In 1981 my parents, siblings and I emigrated to Canada from Holland to a dairy farm just north of the 401 close to Williamsburg, ON. Which soon became an organic dairy farm. My Husband Rene is first generation Canadian with Dutch immigrants as parents. So my cooking is infused proudly with our Dutch (organic, dairy, large family) heritage and so is the house décor.
In A Nut Shell
A unique event space for groups 8-24 with a bit of wiggle room in the summer. Come celebrate! Let us do the cooking and the dishes. The house is incredible. Tables that are made from 190 year old floor joists, a fire place hearth that used to be the front step and Dutch dishes that have been in the family for over 50 years.
Also offering a monthly Supper Club. Once a month meet old friends and make new ones over an amazing dinner.
